Working closely with Transport department

As an Administrator you will be responsible for a wide variety of duties to ensure all administration, support and assistance is given to the transport department and overall depot.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist with paperwork in transport dept.
- Undertake duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures
- Chasing information
- Inputting data
- Querying discrepancies
- Taking calls from clients
- Emailing customers and responding to e-mails
- Scan all documents onto the system
- Liaising with internal and external departments
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required
- Ensure all personal data is collected, stored, and processed in line with the Data Protection Act (DPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Company Policies
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Computer literate, numerate and IT literate (keyboard, data input and interpretation, basic use of Word, Excel, e-mail, and internet).
- GCSE A-C / 4-9 English – Preferably in English & Math’s

- Transport Manager

- Strong administration skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
- Motivated self -starter

- Strong organisational skills
- Adaptability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working on different software systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must
- Experience in the Construction/Plant sector would be an advantage
