Our apprentice program is open to candidates with the appetite to learn on the job, the willingness to proactively contribute to the success and growth of the team and to those with the drive to develop their careers within one of the industry’s most successful plant hire organisations.

All training and support will be given on systems and processes to ensure you have all the necessary tools to perform your duties to the best of your abilities. You will commit to your professional development plan, set out at the beginning of your apprenticeship program, and understand the importance of managing both professional and learning responsibilities.

  • Undertake duties in full accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Gain product knowledge on an ongoing basis to enable yourself to advise and assist customers in their requirements
  • Manage training records (in-house and external training)
  • Update information on the Company’s system
  • Book medicals, review and authenticate operators’ medical certificates
  • Send New Starter forms via text and follow up with operators. Ensure all forms are completed and recorded on the system

Review and highlight any medical issues to the Occupational Health Nurse

  • Liaise with PPE suppliers and order PPE. Update records on Company’s system and on Excel spreadsheets
  • Answer telephone queries
  • Ad hoc duties where necessary
  • Ensure all personal data is collected, stored, and processed in line with Data Protection Act (DPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Company policies



  • GCSE A-C / 4-9 English
  • Previous administration experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to use own initiative in managing workload without direct supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management personal qualities
  • Strong attention to detail
