WHAT HAS CHANGED WITH US?
Flannery has continued to modernise and grow through what has been a testing time across all sectors. Whilst the impacts of the pandemic can be felt across the construction industry, Flannery is excited to show its commitment to developing its people through the opening of new roles across multiple teams. Our apprentice program is open to candidates with the appetite to learn on the job, the willingness to proactively contribute to the success and growth of the team and to those with the drive to develop their careers within one of the industry’s most successful plant hire organisations.
The construction industry is fast-paced, experiencing a period of huge change and technological innovation and has a strong pipeline of major works, government projects and investment. Focus on recruiting an engaged, diverse workforce to support these projects has never been stronger and the opportunities never more varied.
Are you a proactive, enthusiastic individual? Are you motivated by attention to detail, understanding and adapting processes, all whilst working in a dynamic environment led by the need to offer our customers an industry-leading experience?
Whilst we do not expect you to be an expert in your field, to work at Flannery you will need the willingness to learn and the ability to apply any previous experience to your new role. All training and support will be given on systems and processes to ensure you have all the necessary tools to perform your duties to the best of your abilities. There will be the opportunity to develop your skills across different facets of our business as you start your career. Our aim is to enable you to achieve your ambitions and grow with Flannery as we in turn target continued growth in the sector.
You will commit to your professional development plan, set out at the beginning of your apprenticeship program, and understand the importance of managing both professional and learning responsibilities.
We want to work with young people from every background, so we are passionate about building a diverse workforce that represents the clients we support. We, therefore, welcome applications from everyone who meets the essential criteria for the role. If you think you are fit for this role but do not have all the desirable experience, we would still love for you to apply, as you will have the chance to complete a supporting statement/assessment to let us know what you would bring to the table.
