This case study focuses on the A421 Expressway widening, a Morgan Sindall project that will create a dual carriage way from the Eagle Farm roundabout to Junction 13 of the M1. A stretch of road that is used by almost 30,000 vehicles a day.

The focus for this case study were the benefits of the Trimble Earthworks platform, these new excavators are supplied with the GPS platform fully integrated.The technology allows data files to be loaded into the system (via USB or remotely) which then enables the operator to work accurately with the latest digital model.
