Flannery Plant Hire are proud to be using the latest equipment from Bomag with their new roller technology.
Using their ‘evolve’ rolling stiffness measurement with sensors built into the roller drum, the machine gives complete surface area coverage of the stiffness value from the drum, which then relays back to the operator to give a physical compaction value inside the cab.
Strategic Manager of Flannery Plant Hire, Chris Matthew, was asked about the impact of this machinery for the construction industry:
“If you look at it from a risk perspective, people plant interface is one of the key challenges that we’ve got because there’s the potential risk of machines coming into contact with people. So, if we reduce the machines, we have less potential for those instances.”
