The COP26 Summit in Glasgow highlighted the need for positive change for the environment at the highest level of government, but we can all make the effort to do what we can to make a difference.

We at Flannery actively seek out the safest, most innovative, and sustainable solutions that deliver value to our clients and leave a greener, cleaner legacy. The breadth and depth of our plant and services ensure that we improve the method of work, providing the smartest and cleanest solution.

Flannery continues to invest heavily in the Komatsu hybrid excavators. With the enhanced fuel-saving technology, the hybrid machines provide up to 30% reduction in fuel consumption and 20% CO2 reduction on site.

“It’s seven years since we added our first Komatsu hybrid excavator to the fleet. We are building the largest hybrid fleet in Europe with a further 20 units on firm order for 2022 from Komatsu alone. We are proud to continue to enhance our offer to our clients enabling them to drive a greener, more sustainable construction site of the future” – Patrick Flannery, Flannery Managing Director.

“We are delighted to have agreed on another deal with Flannery to supply more market-leading Komatsu hybrid excavators as they continue their strategy of creating a multi-fuel machine fleet. Once delivered, this means Flannery will be running the largest fleet of hybrid excavators in Europe.” – Jeremy Nugent, Marubeni-Komatsu Sales Director.

With ultra-low emissions, this technology provides a lower environmental impact and a superior performance to help reduce operating costs and lets the operator work with complete peace of mind.
