A huge congratulations to our superstar apprentice, Chloe Jones, for winning Young Plant Operative of the Year at this year’s CPA Stars of the Future awards!
When catching up with Chloe, she commented on her time as an apprentice:
“There are so many skills that I’ve learnt so far, such as how to communicate across different areas of the business and how to work well in a team. Even though you’re often isolated in the machine, there’s still a team working around you so we need to collaborate to ensure that everybody goes home safely to their families and that we’re doing the job to the best possible standard. I really love working on a 360 excavator because it challenges me and gives me variety within my working day.
The people that are at CITB, on the apprenticeship and within Flannery are my favourite part of this experience. I’ve never known such a supportive network, and having people behind me who are helping me to succeed is really great to have.”
We’re immensely proud of Chloe and look forward to seeing all that she goes on to achieve!
The awards also saw our Head of Skills and Training, Aaron Davis, on stage discussing the training opportunities that we have available here at Flannery and with the Operator Skills Hub.
