Construction News Specialists Awards 2021

We’re proud to announce that we’re the winner of two categories from the industry-acclaimed Construction News 2021 Specialist Awards.

These annual awards celebrate the very best specialist contractors in the UK and it was amazing to be able to attend the event as a team – in person.

Innovation of the year

Together with MachineMax, we co-developed a revolutionary telematics solution that encourages behavioural change and enables efficient and environmentally responsible hire solutions to all of Flannery customers.

Editor of Construction News, Lem Bingley said: “This winning innovation brings not only economic benefits but also sustainability improvements, with the impact on operations made visible through the use of the telematics software”.

Training excellence

Our Operator Skills Hub is a testament to our continued focus on training and upskilling our people to meet the demands of the modern-day digital construction site, helping to close the skills gap in the construction sector.

The judges commented: “It’s great to see training for digital-enabled construction and this is such a key skill for workers across all aspects of the construction industry now and going forward”.

Congratulations must also go to Danielle Taylor who was shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year – it was a close-run competition and she’s an absolute winner in our eyes!

Thank you to Construction News, for this recognition and a huge well done to those whose hard work made this achievement possible!
