When we get together, the smallest things can make a big difference.
Over the next few months, all Flannery depots will be raising money for BBC Children in Need, we have plenty of upcoming events and activities planned. Children in Need is an invaluable source of support for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. With our help, they can change the lives of almost half a million young people across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland every single year.
For the second year running, we are proud to supply the DIY SOS: Big Build team with machines for the duration of their charity build. Our Spotty Machines are currently hard at work in Swansea, raising money along the way with the support of a huge team of volunteers who are developing a new base for Surfability UK, the UK’s first-fully inclusive surf school. Surfability UK currently supports more than 500 people from across the UK and gives disabled people the opportunity to take to the waves.
While Flannery machines are raising donations on site, our team will be taking part in our own socially distanced events in support of this great cause. Flannery founder and Chairman Patrick Flannery will be hitting the road on his bike to cycle the equivalent distance between our two furthest depots (Wembley and Aberdeen) covering a total distance of 537 miles.
There is a Flannery team ready to tackle the famous Thames Bridge Trek in October and following a great uptake during the lockdown, our Virtual Pub Quiz will be back, bigger and better than ever!
Please give generously to support young people who need our help, now more than ever.
