Through the use of innovative digital platforms, we are delivering Operator Skills Bootcamp learning materials directly to inmates. This programme equips them with essential knowledge, setting the stage for their enrolment in our Operator Skills Bootcamps upon release.

With the dedicated support of the CSCS delivery team at HMP Wayland, this partnership is already achieving tangible results. Former inmates are leaving prison with new qualifications, opening doors to employment opportunities as Plant Operators. These success stories are proof that with the right training and support, lives can be transformed.
Immersive Hands-On Experience:
As part of our commitment, we recently brought the Plant Operator Simulator Van to HMP Wayland. This cutting-edge technology allows participants to experience the excitement and challenge of operating heavy machinery in a controlled, immersive environment. It is a vital step in building confidence and sparking enthusiasm for the industry, easing the transition to in-person Bootcamps after release.
