Flannery are proud to be one of the headline sponsors for the Bucks Skills Show this week, taking place on the 8th and 9th of March.

This year the Stoke Mandeville Stadium based show will be bigger than ever, as those seeking career opportunities of all ages are free to attend the event from 4-8pm on the 8th of March.

Flannery are a title sponsor of the event alongside HS2’s construction partners Align and EKFB. Paul Skitt, Skills Development Director at Flannery Plant Hire, commented:

“Flannery have supported the Bucks Skills Show for several years (including being a sponsor). We have found it a great event to showcase our business and engage with the future talent. This year, we’re glad to have the opportunity to be one of the main sponsors and we look forward to meeting the next generation of construction workers!

Our core apprenticeship scheme is the Construction Plant Operator Trailblazer Apprenticeship. This lasts for 12-15 months, giving apprentices the opportunity to become highly skilled operators on 4 machine categories, ranging from dump trucks to excavators. Alongside their training and studies, apprentices also have the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s major construction projects.

We will be bringing our Mobile Training Unit, where visitors will get the chance to experience operating a digger or driving a dump truck in a high-tech safe environment through our state-of-the-art simulators. We look forward to meeting our future budding operators.”
