Following on from our event in Birmingham supporting women entering into the construction industry, Flannery Plant Hire are pleased to announce that we are subscribed as a Silver member of Women into Construction for 2022.
The non-profit organisation promotes gender equality in the construction industry through giving bespoke support to women wishing to work in construction. They also play a part in assisting contractors to recruit highly motivated, trained women to help reduce the skill gaps and create a more gender-equal workforce.
Together, we hope to continue to provide remote mentoring to women who are interested in entering into the industry, with the aim to then provide work placements and job opportunities. At Flannery, we believe that it is critical that we attract more women into the industry by breaking stereotypes and making it a secure and accepting place for anybody to build a career in.
